Fromage The Cow

This has got to be one of my favourite niche restaurants in Brisbane. Raclette night is definitely an experience worth signing up for, but their regular meals are excellent too. Service is always great and friendly so really nothing to complain about, so long as you like cheese. Don't expect cheap meals, but nothing is outrageously expensive.

Antipasto board was great and the cheese is fantastic, gnocchi is very rich but incredibly delicious. The pork belly, however was dry, and the prawns were not to our liking but this was a matter of personal taste over the preparation of the dish. On the higher end of the budget but everything is made of higj quality ingredients.

Tried it for the first time and was very surprised at how good the food was! There are so many nice meals to pick from - the quality is amazing. Nice cold beers. Not too noisy. Comfortable seating. Reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ambience was great, inside or outside seating. Parking was close by. And the food was so yummy!!! We had a great time 👍👏 Would we come back? Definitely!!!!

Love this little gem! If you love cheese, you must come here. My life is now complete since the existence of this place. I popped in for desert, ordering a cheese board and a coffee. It was delicious! I was super impressed with the selection of cheeses. I'm keen to go back to try more. They had so many to choose from.

Terrible service. The waiter was rude and not welcoming. He was classist and arrogant. I had a reservation and I was looking forward to try their cheese fondue that looks amazing on their website. However, when we were planning to order the option was not in the menu. The waiter did not do anything about it instead, he blame us for not calling and checking the "New Menu". Then, when we asked him to recommend us something similar to the fondue that we were after, he laughed on our face recommending us fish and chips... at that point we were very upset with his behaviour. So we decided to leave. As we were living, the other customers next to us agreed that the whole situation was just wrong I cannot comment on the food as I did not try it but the service is disgusting. Never again!!!

With no particular expectations we popped in for dinner on the way home from a busy week.. Attentive service, good food, although the entrees and mains could be scaled down in order to enjoy some cheese.. 2 courses of thoughtful food, but no room for cheese! We will be back.. But only for entree sizes! Wines are OK, but given the francophile nature a few more good French wines would be great.

Came inside to get out of the heat and had a great lunch there today. Although the aircon wasnt strong, the staff made up for it by delivering heaps of water. Two floor staff on today and both were friendly and chatty, had good humour and were both lovely with my kids. I know that serving kids can be challenging but they both made us feel comfortable with enough space for the stroller and had a little joke around which my kids thought was great. Ordered the chicken kale salad and it was outstanding. Dressing was light and not overpowering and the meal balanced very nicely with textures of nuts which complemented the softer avocado. Every ingredient had a purpose and I really enjoyed it thank you. I passed on my compliments on my way out and found out it was the chef's first week. What a great way to kick off! Keep it up.
