Soul Bistro

What a gem! Really delicious food - different flavours and textures, and Terry's Hong Kong influence shines through - friendly service, casual vibe, good portion sizes, BYO with a bottle shop just around the corner, very good pricing and lots of parking make Soul Bistro a winner! We opted for the Tapas and Dessert option. The different mixture of flavours was amazing! The fried pork belly was to die for, Asian nachos was a delightful twist on the standard nachos, and the creme brulee rivalled the best I've tasted in French restaurants. Terry believes in using fresh, readily available produce and the tastes confirm that. We'll be back, again and again!

We recently dined there with a large group and I would like to thank Terry who was going out of his way to accomodate us with his Set Menu which offered a range of delicious choices for every budget. The food arrived promptly and was nicely presented, super tasty and you can tell he is very passionate about his cooking. We will definitely be back to try his breakfast Menu, too!

Popped in for an impromptu date night dessert, one week after Covid19 restrictions eased. Lovely little place to discover! The owner encouraged us to eat in if we were having the Chocolate Brownie dessert and he proved to us why, it came out as a sizzling sensation with the fudge sauce bubbling underneath the brownie and icecream, most surprising and unexpected, and deliciously yum! There's not too many places around Brisbane to have a nice little "dessert out" at, but this place is definitely a "need to go back" to try more kind of place! The meals sound great too and reasonably priced, so will be back for sure.
