Came in for a quick coffee whilst in the area. Big cafe, with heaps of cabinet food on display. Was disappointed with the service as I found the staff to be quite rude. We had a small bag of food from a nearby bakery (unopened) however the staff member serving us told us quite harshly we can’t eat it in the cafe. We completely understood, but thought it wasn’t addressed the best way.
Coffee was pretty good, as merlo usually is. If in the area would just get one to takeaway!

Even the dogs get free water!
Asked for water with brekkie but told could not because of covid and would have to purchase water from fridge.
Coffee good (+4 stars).
Eggs had shell in them. (-5 stars)
Service - could not understand the waiter (-1 star)
Dog water (+ 3 stars)
Overall +1 star
Would recommend. For coffee (or free dog water)
Brekkie not so much.

A lovely deli with a great selection of food for young and old. Serving Merlo coffee and with a range of milkshakes and frappes to keep everyone happy. Plenty of options in the cabinets and a nice menu.

Well the staff seem nice friendly. I ordered a cappuccino which was really burnt then when my streak sandwich came out it looked average in appearance but i thought all good i took one bite into the steak it was but chewy i opened the sandwich to see in side and the steak was so raw like it was mooing.
I hope dont get sick now from trying to eat it. From the price of the meal sadly it was not worth a look. To be honest i would really like my money back not happy with the food. Its a shame thought id try somewhere new for lunch.

We LOVED this place. The serving sizes were very generous and the food tasted divine. It was a little more expensive than we usually spend for breakfast but we definitely got our moneys worth. Best coffee sold here too. Wish we lived in Brisbane because we would go here all the time!

Third time I’ve been to this cafe and the staff isn’t friendly.. they don’t look happy and unfortunately it is reflected in the food. I’ve been back there because I was in a group and someone choose that cafe, but next time I’ll make sure to go somewhere else. Also if you want to drink water you need to buy, no free tap water.. but that wouldn’t be a problem if everything else was good.

I stopped by while out for a bike ride and had a coffee, it was very good. Even got a free cookie, I love a free cookie! They have a wide range of delicious looking food freshly made and the cheapest eggs in Brisbane 800g free range for $6. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Stop by and support the locals.
