The Place 2b

Easy to see why The Place 2 B has won so many awards. The home cooked meals, largely made by one of the owners, are a decent size and delicious, the curries are prepared by their lovely Indian chef and are very tasty and you won’t need seconds. Great atmosphere, friendly owners, picturesque property with abundant wildlife. All welcome!

My husbands burger was awesome as were his chips crispy and golden. However my fish and chips were very disappointing. The fish was non existent...small skinny pieces of fish and the chips weren't cooked properly in fact some weren't cooked at all. It was so odd given my husband had pretty much an epic hamburger. We decided to have a cuppa and cake the pot of tea was perfection but the cakes the were stale and very unpleasant it was terrible. The service and the atmosphere was amazing we were so happy with the views. I suppose being a lovely country cafe it was a beautiful experience but also a disappointing one but having said that we will go back just the same. 5th June 2022 Came back as we said we would. We came here a second time was just as lovely! The service and the atmosphere is always good here. Although hubbies hamburger wasn't as good as previously... the meat burger was burnt and small the other time the burger was large and juicy and not overcooked. My girlfriend and my meals were wonderful. The service and atmosphere is always wonderful. We will still come back. We just love it here. Thank you
