Cafe 63 Ann St

Came around 11:45am today with my friend after our final exam! We ordered the Emirates and Hammer Throw - both very delicious and filling for a good price (better than other cafes 63's I've been too). We also received excellent service from the staff member who took our order!! We weren't ready the first time, but unlike other waitresses out there, she remembered to come back and put our orders over other customers who came later. Really appreciated it! Thanks for the great experience, will be back again :)

Aesthetics were pleasing but I would say service and food was just ok. The egg was fluffy which was pleasant but the bacon was a bit fattier than I expected. The bun was larger than most and is dark (is it burnt?) and the sauce was not evenly spread on the bun. I was the only customer for awhile at 9:15 so it wasn't cos they were run off their feet. Just that it was their standard quality. Free bottle of water is good with the Bacon and Egg Roll. Tried lunch the other day - A Sir Don, which is Steak and Prawns in Hollandaise sauce. Not very good. Maybe like 3.

I have a lot of time for a place with pretend green grass. Inside, too! 2018 is a time to be alive, I’ll tell you that. The service was zippy, and the company was rather nice, too. I can’t speak to food but I am told it is pretty good, but my read suggests a bit too varied. Focus in all things, right? You want to act, act. You want to run, run. You want to operate a restaurant, have a small menu. Also the Yemen Coffee frappe, though oddly named, was wonderful. يَراك قريباً, ان شاء الله

The Good - The Bad - Coffee, no love. Simply add milk and stir. Tip: Use a coffee thermometer, it tells you when the milk is warm enough 👍 The Ugly - Food, cold and sour. Tip: When using packet hollondaise, leave under the heat lamp for a while. It makes it warmer than if you take it straight out the fridge. And when adding lemon to said hollondaise, please stir it through and not add onto the eggs. Makes the eggs taste sour & funky AF. Tip: Use that same heat lamp to heat the plates. Makes for when you put the burnt bread on the plate it remains warm instead of going cold instantly. But hey, the bacon was great! If you like it tasting like jerky and oh yeah that’s right, cold. 🙃
