We like this place and often get take away however occasionally manage to score the prime table on the verandah near the street corner - nice breeze and great people watching while getting your fish and chip fix in. Reasonable prices and wait times aren't too bad. Gets busy on weekends and public holidays so best to get in before 12 for lunch.

Very clean and friendly staff. The hamburgers are to die for....just like the old fashioned style....not like the McDonalds rubbish. Great food all around Potato scallops were magic. Lovely to be able to eat beside the water. I definitely will be going back.

Decided to get fish and chips here for my Mother’s Day lunch after reading all the great reviews. 2 stars for friendly staff and ok fish, but the chips were truly the worst. Undercooked, soggy and almost no chicken salt despite asking for extra. Very disappointing! I assume just a bad day given the other good reviews, but we won’t be returning any time soon.

Food pretty good. Chips are yellow. 🤔Service lovely but did notice one of the staff handling the seafood without gloves. Big no no with Covid around. Hygiene is very important!!!!

Not happy with the service. My sibling has sensory needs, and has ask for things without the salad, sauce etc. We came in, ordered, it was fine. Pick up our food and go to the car, and find her burger was labelled "Princess burger", mocking her request for an altered meal. They put in tons of onion, despite us explicitly asking for JUST the bun and patty. Not a fan of my sister's disability being mocked.

Service was friendly. Parking adequate. Ambience is welcoming with a great view of the bay. Fish was fresh but sadly my salmon was overdone when I asked for it to be rare. Salad and chips are delicious. Nice spot for fish and chips.

Shelley inn remains my favourite place to ride too for lunch, good food and nice sea breezes I ride from Ipswich to partake. If you find yourself in the area don't hesitate to try them Today the 17th of Feb 2022 all that tables and chairs are packed away again, not sure why as there is no mandate directing them to do so.

Unfortunately the service and quality has dropped dramatically in the last few months. A 15 minute wait for sub standard milkshakes after receiving the food part of our order during a not busy period was a low light.
