Little Thai Cafe And Restaurant

We have visited a number of times, and the food is always good. However tonight was a complete disappointment and we had to leave after our entree. When we arrived, we were told where our table was but not shown. We sat there for ahwile, even when another staff member cleaned a table next to us, and we hadn't been offered a menu. There were only 3 tables with guests. All other tables were empty. The table of 5 females near us were exceptionally loud, we couldn't even attempt to talk to each other. We were deciding whether to stay or go, and decided to talk to the staff, asking whether they could request the table to tone it down a bit. The staff indicated she knew it was loud and would speak with them. She came and took our order, took the order from the loud table and nothing was said. We received our entree and still could not talk to each other. I decided to go ask the staff again. This time I was told that they couldn't ask another table to be quiet, however they could put us at a table outside. ..its 10 degrees tonight. I let them know that this was not an option. We decided to cancel our mains, and leave. When we let them know we were leaving they again said that they couldn't speak to the other table, but again offered a table outside. And, they also offered our mains as takeaway. We were in no mood to pay for food we couldn't enjoy at the restaurant that we had booked to eat at. We were thoroughly disappointed with the lack of compassion towards their guests and they were not at all concerned that we were leaving because they wouldn't suggest to another table to be a little less raucous. We won't return and we don't usually post negative reviews. However after trying to rectify it twice, with zero respect for our request, I had to post a review.

I went to this restaurant mid December 2021 with a small group of friends as they had suggested it was very good. After reading the description of their massaman curry beef, I ordered that for my main meal. Although the curry was very flavorsome and there were lots of large chunks of beef, sadly the beef itself was quite tough and took a while to chew to break it down before I could swallow it. I certainly wasn't expecting that as in other places I have been and had this meal, the beef was always tender....... Don't know what happened there, but it marred an otherwise good experience.
