Electric Avenue

Had my 60th Birthday in the speakeasy bar recently and cant speak highly enough about the venue and ambience, the food and the staff. The vibe is amazing and would recommend this for a fun night out. The menu was and beverage list were comprehensive and inclusive. I want to celebrate my birthday here every year. Thanks Dan, James and Susanna for all your help in making this a really memorable birthday.

FANTASTIC!! Mrs J Rabbit's was the perfect venue for our sons 21st Birthday celebration. All the staff from the planning stage through to the event were so incredibly friendly and helpful as we were organising the event remotely. The food was delicious and the venue was loved by all. The perfect hidden gem in the speakeasy style. Thank you all at Canvas for making this special event an amazing night.

A must see place. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful venue. It has been decorated to such a high standard. Very quirky. Had starters of almonds, olives and bread. Such good size helping and tasted beautiful. The lemon grass chicken was incredible and a nice size again. Definitely worth visiting.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, the whole restaurant tied things together so well. The heritage building with the old school decoration was magic! The food and service was also top tier. Then upstairs for some live jazz, and a quiet drink, topped the night. Many thanks to the entire crew, we had a great night.

We booked Electric Avenue for our wedding celebration and had the most wonderful time! Mrs J. Rabbits was kept as a secret until part way through our event. The food was amazing and all of our dietary requirements were catered for deliciously - so many good gf and vegan options! To the staff who we worked with; Susanna, Estelle, Pickles, Axel, Matt, Will, and so many more behind the scenes, you were all so warm and welcoming. Our guests loved your venue, the catering, and the warm atmosphere. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our special day!

We had our wedding here on the weekend and it was lovely. The team were super helpful - special shout outs to Susanna, Axel and Carlos for thier great customer service. My Mum fell up the stairs on her way into the speak easy bar and cut her head and Carlos was very sincere and helpful when writing up the incident report. Hopefully you get a brighter light at the top of the stairs so that slips can be avoided in the future. Thanks for hosting our event :-)
