Last minute choice of venue after a show at Brisbane Powerhouse.
Special shout-out to fellow reviewer Monica for recommending the vego pide. Ordered same and had to do a takeaway as well as it was a very generous portion. Also, dessert space. Enough said! Lol
Dinner companion ordered the mixed platter which I’m advised was good.
This place was where Mado once was and I like what Istanbul 1923 have done with the place. Courtyard looked good too.
Service and food were wonderful. The chefs in the kitchen were old school and friendly. Loved that.

This restaurant is a must go. I could not fault one thing. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food, the food was amazing, tasty, packed with flavour. We ordered from the banquet menu and one from the main al carte menu.

The food and drinks were served promptly and were very delicious. Service was friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is lovely. We got the banquet for two, their servings were very generous and too much so we had to take it home. Reheats yay So delicious! Will be back, thank you!

It was nice. It wasn't a knock your socks off fancy restaurant, but that's not what I was looking for. I wanted somewhere nice to go for lunch with my friends, and eat some nice wholesome Turkish food. And it was, it was very nice. Would I go back again? Most definitely.

Had lunch here with my friend and I have to say the food is amazing. The lamb cutlets were cooked perfectly and were bursting with flavour, as was the Turkish bread and yoghurt served. My friend also stated his food was very tasty. Will definitely be coming back.

Great service, prices and atmosphere. The lamb cutlets are to die for! The mixed grill is such good value and everything was so beautifully cooked. Parking can be a little tricky but this place is worth driving around for!

Wow we went for a family dinner and had an amazing experience with delicious food. The staff went above and beyond. My mother requires gluten free and they delivered share platters and banquet meals with options of both to cater for us all. We definitely recommend this restaurant.
