Unfortunately the food has changed since the recent closure/reopening. Same menu, but definitely not the same taste. I’ve always ordered the same two dishes for the last 2 years and they are definitely not as tasty now. In addition the naan portions have decreased. Good news is that they still have the same delicious veggie samosas, but they now only give tamarind, and not the additional spicy green sauce that I liked. The staff also now seem a bit less enthusiastic about life.

I have not been to this restaurant for a while and prior to this last meal, it was very good and I rated it a 5. I have recommended it to others and always received bad feedback. So I wanted to find out why, so I tried to order takeaway on Friday and the lady that answered the phone could not understand simple English, I had to call in and order over the counter. I ordered a Lamb Saag, but I’m pretty sure that I received Goat, because one of the pieces had a bone that looked like it was from Goat meat. The meat was dry and the curry was tasteless, just lots of heat, way too hot for medium and I received no rice with the order. I now understand why the feedback was always bad, sorry but you have lost my business and I have changed my rating to a 2.

There are only two Indian restaurants I rated 5 stars in Brisbane and this is one of them. Ordered goat curry. REALLY GOOD!!! Price is so reasonable with the use of real spices and ingredients. Service is great too. Highly recommended. Come and try and you will know what I meant. Another one I rated 5 stars is on Samuel at Camp Hill.
