Five stars from me. When I dine out I like to eat food that I don't cook at home. Polpetta is an Italian restaurant that offers more than just pasta. We started with the beetroot risotto, absolutely delicious. Mains, slow cooked lamb shoulder, with rostered carrots and fennel,could not fault it. My husband had flank steak...cooked to perfection, just delicious. Would definitely recommend, nice place, atmosphere and the location at vibrant Howard Smith wharves. Do try.

Very poor and limited menu. Small portions. The pasta dishes are all pasta and and very little of ingredients Over priced and poor V4M. They even had to raid hotel minibars to stock beer selection. Staff un-attentive, we waited 5 mins outside in rain before any acknowledgement. Will not be returning.

Here you can enjoy a service of high world standard, a dedicated multilingual friendly staff and above all a menu according to its price value. Its access facilities are very convenient, parking in the hotel's basement or street parking (free after 7:00 pm and weekends) up the Lower Bowen Tce, using 2 lifts to go down to the hotel or just taking the CityHopper boat transport until Eagle St Station. Ask for Justina or Rossi, they can solve all your requirements (like my customised vegetarian breakfast) immediately and make your stay fantastic! Thump up for Polpeta 👍🏼

This restaurant offers great food. Presentation was good. We ordered the meatball for entre although the taste was somewhat bland. The fetticine pesto with zucchini flower was definitely something different. It's not something that you always see on menus and the taste was very pleasing. My friend ordered risotto. The mushroom was very fragrant but the taste was not overpowering. Overall, great food, service and ambience. Reasonable price considering its location.
