New Canton Restaurant

We have eaten here for many years both dine in and take away. Always good quality food. Tonight we asked them to make us a custom dish using eggplant as there was none on the menu. They obliged and one of the chef's made an eggplant and pork dish from his region of china, it was really good! I would highly recommend buying food from these guys....... I am a white male born and bred Aussie who has been to China so my comment has some relevance. Enjoy.

Traditional eat in restaurant with outstanding service and even better food. Flavours were absolutely spot on. Portion sizes are very good. Diverse menu that offer a full takeaway menu. Doesn't look like much form the outside but it is definitely worth stopping. Parking available at the rear of shop.

Well they serve you here which is a great start, Hard to find a restaurant that has good service these days.Service was very friendly. Found the seating very crammed. The food was well priced. Gave three stars because we felt food was low quality, They also had tip jar which always annoys me. the menu selection was way to big..

This restaurant has without a doubt, the absolute best Chinese/Asian style food I've ever had the privilege to eat. Literally every single dish I've ever ordered from this place (and I've had a lot) exceeds every expectation. The retro Chinese decor has been untouched since I was 3 years old in 2000 and was probably the same before then as well. Hands down the best Chinese you can get in Brisbane, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Would recommend the Jan See special, honey chicken or deep fried wontons (anything is good though).
