Cafe Auchenflower

This is a delightful cafe in a beautiful old building with the original shop front. It's bright and airy and there is a comfortable feeling. The service is fantastic, so friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home the moment you arrive. The food and coffee are lovingly made and I'm very keen to return to try more!

Peach cafe is a cute little cafe hidden in Milton. They serve great coffee, the food taste great and prices are reasonable. Customer service was pretty good and food didn't take too long to come out even during a busy brunch service, it was literally packed. We ordered the popcorn chicken pokebowl and weekend special which had fried mac & cheese balls. Everything tasted great, flavours were well balanced and ingredients were fresh. Definitely worth checking this cafe out.

This is a great little cafe, with plenty of street parking close by. The food looked and tasted amazing. After our meals we ordered some cookies to take-away. Delicious and indulgent. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. The staff were happy and polite. Prices were reasonable. Their fresh juices are also delicious.

Was really looking forward to the visit but ended up feeling disappointed. As usual, we ordered a soy flat white and a skinny cap. The coffees were great, the kind of coffee we appreciate. Taste was mutual, balanced and offered a hint of bitterness. Food wise, I grabbed their Loaded Benny Croissant and my partner had their Popcorn Chicken Salad Bowl. I am a big fan of croissant egg bennies and it was one of the reasons why I chose Peach. And it turned out to be such a letdown. It was the worst croissant Benny I have ever had. Despite the look of the dish, being all glamorous and appetizing, the taste did not match at all. My main issue was with the croissant. I don’t know what happened to it. It was dry, and tough. It also tasted old, like it had been sitting on the kitchen counter uncovered for days before it was served. Croissants are supposed to be airy, fluffy and flaky, but the croissant I had reminded me of bread that hadn’t proved properly. Except for the appearance, it did not have any resemblance to a croissant. I’m sorry about the harsh words, but really, that croissant was hardly edible. And according to the menu, their croissants were supposedly baked at the cafe. In comparison, the rest of the dish was good. The hollandaise sauce was creamy, and the eggs were perfectly poached. The pulled pork was tender, juicy and not overly greasy. The kale was fresh and added a hint of freshness. On the other hand, both my partner and I loved the popcorn chicken salad. We both agreed that the popcorn chicken was mind blowing. I really dug the pickled ginger and appreciated the tongue tingling sensation after having it. The service was great. The staff were friendly and nice. It was getting real busy once we sat down. And it is only a Wednesday morning. I liked the vibe and the interior of the cafe. With everything taken into consideration, I can only give them 3 stars, as awful as the croissant was, the whole experience was generally good. And I’d like to go back again some other time.

Staff were friendly and coffee was good. Cafe was really small, crowded and noisy. I had to yell at my friend to chat. There were more than 10 flies around me and on my food. I think they should do something about it seriously. We had sweet potato waffle and spring harvest. Sweet potato waffle had no much flavour, quite soggy. It didn't really balance out for everything. Whereas spring havest was too salty.

We were plasently surprised at the coffee, definitely one of the best I had in town. It was strong, had a nutty flavour but not bitter. The food was nice, Croissant Benny's bacon was a bit salty, the Mushroom Croquettes was nice, food I would say is 4/5. Atmosphere is nice and warm, could do with a bit more design, but as the local coffee joint it is good enough. Would definitely be back for the coffee if I'm around the area. Btw service was great!
