Verrano Cafe Kitchen And Bar

Absolutely fabulous breakfast today at Verrano. We called up prior to see if they had seating inside with air conditioning as my husband is a unit who hates the heat. Asked if we could come down straight away and they were more than happy to accomodate us. The staff were so attentive and lovely and kept checking to see how our meals were and also to update us on how far away the food was. The chef appears to be on his own in the kitchen and he was worried we had to wait so he asked the staff to send out a free drink on the house which we were not expecting (and we really weren’t waiting long, after a busy week for us both we were happy for the time to actually get the chance to sit down and chat with each other!). The food was sensational, best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had (and I have scrambled eggs everywhere we try) they were beyond fluffy and I need to know his secret! 🤣❤️ The freshly squeezed orange juice is a must to try. My husbands poached eggs were also perfection, massive compliments to the chef!

Im a single dad and I thought it would be nice to have brunch with my 2 children for fathers day. We were seated immediately and ordered in about 5 mins. At the 30 min mark I was told our food would be at least another 20-25 minutes, at the 40 min mark a chocolate milkshake was delivered and I was told the smoothie I had asked for couldn't be made. I then left because my kids were very much over waiting and we were going to be late for catching up with family and friends... thanks for ruining my father's day brunch... disgraceful service

The team were super helpful and got all of the order correct. Event went out of their way to cook a custom meal for one of our group, that due to surgery couldn't eat off the standard menu. Excellent coffee and food, all from a team with a friendly vibe. All around it was a good way to start our day. Thanks guys!

Sadly i would not give a good rating to this cafe. We visited the cafe on Sunday for Mother's day (we had a booking) and it took the waitress almost an hour and 15 minutes to take our order. We enquired as to where our food was to only be informed by the waitress that she had forgotten our order and put our docked 'under the till'. At which point she said she was sorry and we would be given a discount. The food was okay quality so no real complaints there. When it came time to pay, the discount was forgotten about and we were charged full price without so much as an apology. I will not be going back to this cafe.
