Went to dine in with friends and the customer service was extremely poor and inattentive from the start. Made us wait for over half an hour outside in the cold with toddlers and kids so they could find a table for us. We then saw a possum and the staff were trying to get it out of the restaurant and after over half an hour later we were then seated in a very dirty table with a lot dust and possum droppings around the tables. The area was extremely dark even though the waiter serving us was helpful in trying to make it brighter for us. Regarding the food we had our orders all mixed up and after waiting for over an hour we finally got it although the waiter serving us was nice and polite we did receive our food late and drinks were served flat. We were also overcharged for breads which we brought to the managers attention to which we were told that no it was taken off the bill but upon checking it definitely was still there. Our first and last visit!

Although I have been going here for almost two years now, the service has always been average, but because I love Indian food I persisted. The wine list changed and is terrible now but you can BYO which is better really. Service is slow and mistakes happen a lot but I didn't mind little things. But the other night I ordered delivery. I waited 2.5 hours which was appalling because I called a few times but then they had advised that my delivery was ready when it wasn't and my driver sat there waiting for an hour!!!! How terrible! He could have had so many other deliveries! I asked Sitar what compensation was offered to my driver and what for me and I was promised a refund. The refund never came despite several attempts to contact them for it. So now, I will NEVER go again!! They blatantly lied to me and business ethics like this are not ok!!! Thankfully there is another indian restaurant a few doors down.

Amazing food! Currently sitting at home in a food coma wishing I could finish off what’s left because it tastes so good but I’m so full. I’m worried that this is the beginning of an addiction and I’ll never want to grocery shop again. It was ready to pick up in 25 minutes, super quick. The garlic and mozzarella naan and potato naan are 10/10. I love that they use breast chicken as well. Thank you guys for making my night!

We have been visiting the Albion restaurant for 20 years. While the food is still quality the service has declined. We dined in the restaurant last week and after asking several times, did not receive our coconut rice. We were told the kitchen never received the order. It was ordered at the same time as everything else, and the order was repeated to us before going to the kitchen? When we went to pay we did not pay for the rice, but our bill was joined with another tables so we had to wait several minutes for two staff to resolve the issue. This evening my husband picked up our online order, and luckily checked the bag before leaving as it only contained half the order! He waited a few minutes more and received the correct order, but noted that the place is disorganised and chaotic. With so many other restaurants to choose from, we won't be back.

Lovely experience! The waiter maybe manager was on by himself tending to absolutely everyone promptly and equily, he also took orders in his head like a proper 'MaitreD' that alone made my experience itself. Then the food came out and WOW! Entree's where delischious, lamb chops where Stunning and perfectly cooked. I had the beef vindaloo, naan and rice and everything was perfect, very much looking forward to my next visit!

By far the Best Indian food that I have tried in a very long time since I am in Brisbane.. Paneer Tikka masala, dal makhni, Garlic Naan, sour Paneer Naan and Rice - couldn't fault find. Immaculate taste! The old rustic North Indian ambience of this place and the background music just added to the whole experience and spiced things up more. For a moment felt like I am in India.
