Signature Tadka

Had the most delicious takeaway from this place tonight. The smokey eggplant was dreamy. Chana masala & vegetable curry were delicious, too. You could taste the freshness of the veggies. Definitely no skimping on ingredients here. Order arrived on time & hot & the delivery driver was lovely. Can't wait to dine in. This is my new favourite Indian place on the Northside.

I really enjoy the food from this restaurant, however, I cant justify giving more than 3 stars. I am a lunchtime customer and they have a fantastic lunch special on all sorts of curries and breads. Disappointingly they have randomly been closed during lunch. I recently enquired during one lunch (when they were open) if they had changed their hours, and why it was closed - apparently there are staffing availability issues which has now been going on for at least a month (as of Apr18). I need to address some of the comments by other users around the spice levels - this is a personal preference. I find the spice perfectly acceptable and in some instances my 'opinion' is that it is not hot enough. Overall - excellent food and value for money, though the consistency of opening is a big issue.

I went there for lunch today, with my finicky eater friend Michelle, and we were both pleasantly surprised with our meals. The curries weren't just sauce, they had chunks of well-cooked tasty meats and vegetables. The naan breads were tasty and the rice was cooked fresh, not at all gluggy. We will definitely be back to check it out again.

We held an Eighteenth birthday for 16 people at Signature and the staff were great to us. We stayed for four hours, well past when I assume they would have been happy to leave, but they remained graceful throughout. The food was great as well as the variety, and being BYO made it alot cheaper than it otherwise would have been. Thanks to the staff for making our night a good one.

Just ordered take away from here. We ordered the bhindi gosht and butter chicken, now I can eat spicy food having grown up with Indian food and having a mum who owns an Indian restaurant.... however the bhindi gosht that I ordered was so hot that even with added yoghurt I couldn't finish my dinner, the butter chicken that we ordered was horribly dry. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AT ALL.
