Mickle Pickle Espresso

We had a decent breakfast today at Mickle Pickle. My husband had the breakfast stack and I had the vege eggs benedict. Both meals were nice. However, both were advertised as coming with sourdough but instead they came with white vienna bread. Was okay, just didn't give it the same flavour hit. Coffees were good, nice and strong. Big portions and good value for money.

Sadly, not likely to eat here again. Meal to be brutally honest, was pathetic for the price of $18. (See the Pic) This Cafe needs someone new to cook and who can give real value for money, especially if its compared to many of the othe cafes we frequent. The Cafe really needs to lift its game before we would ever return. I normally am not so harsh with my reviews but this time i had to be. C'mon Mickle Pickle, I believe you can do better than what was served up to me.

Absolutely disappointed. Paid $13.70 for a bacon and egg roll and $4.00 a side of chips to takeaway. Was expecting something delicious and a decent sized portion for that price. What I got was a stale brioche bun topped with burnt bacon and an over cooked rubbery egg, barely a handful of oversalted chips. I also paid $2.80 for a can of soft drink - the lid was so filthy I had to rinse it and clean it with a tissue before I could drink it. The service from the girl at the front counter was mediocre and she didn't smile once. Was so disgusted with what I got... ..that I would NEVER eat from here again and would strongly recommend that you didnt either.
