Thai Tasty Kitchen

I was going to contact restaurant directly but then I saw a number of other "recently this place has gone downhill" reviews. Previously the food from here was great quality but last evening's Pad Thai appeared to have been in its container for a long time prior to my ordering it and was placed against something hot that had burnt through the plastic, leaving surprise plastic strings to pick out. (I did check the bag and there were no holes) Additionally the lengthy warming time had made many of the noodles form the shape of the container, like a pasta bake. If the owner can respond to say this won't happen again I would probably re-order. As it was, the Pad Thai was mostly inedible, the accompaniments were still acceptable. One star awarded for the interesting take on a spring roll - with cheese and prawn - which I quite liked.

I ordered the Pad Thai , the chicken was way over cooked, very very bland, completely laking in flavour. Actually all the dishes were laking in flavour! And I am not exaggerating!!! The Panang Curry that I ordered as medium wouldn’t even pass as mild! I have made a more flavoursome Panang Curry with the Aldi pack mix!! Extremely disappointed! Would never recommend.

I use to love this place but my recent order was very disappointing. Ordered chicken pad Thai and the chefs selection tasty bbq duck. Both meals were dismal. The pad Thai I have ordered at least 30 times before but this time it was terrible and had very little meat, the duck wasn’t worth its price. There was hardly any meat and most of it was what seemed to be the left over pieces with little to no meat. And the ‘mixed vegetables’ was nothing more than green beans, ginger and onion. I am wondering it the ownership has changed. Extremely disappointing!
