Toowong Bowls Club

We had our sons 21st here. Everything was great. 80 people turned up and it was great to see lots of people bowling, having food and drink. All the staff were keen to help in any way they could. It worked out to be about $25 a head for what we did... Share platters and pizza with one drink ticket each. At the end of the night in hindsight I would have ordered more food, but I think a few extra people turn up for the party we didn't account for...

In my experience, the food has been excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and all but one of the staff have provided excellent service. Unfortunately, that one staff member, an elderly man, is so grumpy and rude, that my friends and I will no longer be dining here. If it weren't for that unpleasant man I would certainly give this establishment 5 stars.

Been there a few times before and liked the vibe, service, food etc alot. But the other night my wife and I had the seafood basket for dinner (the most expensive thing on the menu), which was average at best... limp, soaked 'salad', grossly over fried chips, scallops, prawns etc; fish was passable. Overall we were very surprised and disappointed.

If I could rate this business lower I would. I planned an event here for my workplace and it was a horrible experience. They had an extremely difficult, unorganised and disrespectful attitude. Felt no respect was paid to myself or my event attendees or the money and business we brought. Have never experienced anything on the same level before it was horrible. Would never patron this business again and will be telling other people to follow suit.

I went to Toowong Bowls Club a couple of months back and I meant to review it then! My friends and I sat in and played a sneaky game of cards with a couple of bevs and some main meals. This bowls club is a lot of fun and you always feel welcome immediately. Friendly staff and decent food at reasonable prices! That's why I'll be back. Can't beat the atmosphere at Toowong ;)
