Fun place to eat with family friendly options. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff with fast service. 3 adults and 2 children all with different meals and all said the food was amazing. Crispy Salmon was cooked perfectly for me, fat Doug burger was perfect size and amazing, fresh taste with home made patty. Jackfruit burger (VO) was the best vegan burger he’d eaten. One child had fish and chips which was a decent serving, while the other had dumplings. Both said the food was amazing. Only thing took away from scoring was the music was a little loud.

This place has so much potential but absolutely does not live up to it at all. Came in at 10:30pm on a Saturday night and was greeted by saying “we’re doing last call so order your drinks quickly” and then was approached by the manager and asked if we had ordered yet because she wanted to turn off the ordering system. Staff did not seem happy to be serving customers at all - we witnessed multiple customers turned away and really poor service by the staff when interacting with us. Had a chat with other customers and they were surprised by them closing so early too seeing as it is advertised as closing at 12am. I understand there are laws regarding last call but the staff were really rude about it. Staff then brought the bins up the stairs and we heard them before we saw them by the thunderous banging up the stairs. Literally 11 degrees and they turned off the heaters around us. The staff were staring at us waiting for us to leave but never said anything about needing to leave or anything. Not welcoming at all. A real let down and poor experience. Cocktails were average too. Would not recommend.

We held a conference welcome event at Southbeach. Kayla and her team were great to work with in the lead up, and the position of the venue is just perfect for anyone wanting a real Brisbane / Queensland experience. It's relaxed, easy; and enjoyable. Beers were good, food was plentiful. Our delegates really enjoyed themselves. Would recommend this as a casual event space.

Southbeach Social hosted my husband's 40th birthday over the weekend and we cannot thank them enough! The service was excellent with food arriving promptly throughout the evening. Speaking of food, it was incredible! The mini cheeseburger sliders were divine! We even had an unexpected vegetarian guest attended and it wasn't too much trouble for them to bring extra out for him to eat. So wonderfully accommodating!
