Suburban Cafe

Not many people there for brunch on a Saturday morning so I was a bit worried. However I was pleasantly surprised. The big breakfast was a bit like american "diner" food but I'm ok with that. My dining partners eggs benny was delicious (although the cook forgot to put the caper berries on the plate) and the pancakes were light & fluffy with very good quality fruit topping. I will return to this cafe.

My wife & I came down for brunch last week, she had the steak sandwich & I the corn fritters. Food was delicious! The serve too big for me to finish sadly but a generous serve of Halloumi is always a great addition to breakfast. Service was professional, swift & I really appreciate when waiters check how many shots of coffee are in our order before making it (thanks Joey!). A lovely menu & staff, heaps of parking & space to spread out in their outdoor eating area.

Worst cafe I have gone to in a long time! The waitresses looked uncomftable, like they didn't want to be there. We ended up waiting over 20mins for our food when the cafe was basically empty... I ordered the eggs benny which was $17.90 and it came out with 1 piece of burnt cold bacon and 2 eggs on a small slice of bread...for that amount you would think they would give you a bit more.... I went up to complain and the lady just continued to say that nothing is wrong and they have never had a problem with it. Poor customer service Poor food quality I feel bad for the staff Unwelcoming atmosphere
