Little Hideout Cafe

Visited Little Hideout on a rainy morning for breakfast! First impressions were positive- super friendly staff and cute ambience. We would have loved to sit outside but sadly it was too wet. Ordered two coffees, an almond & ham and cheese croissant and the breakfast burger. When looking at the pastries we noticed a fly in the covering for the croissants which made us a bit uncomfortable but we shoo’d it out. Sadly, the croissant either wasn’t fresh or it was store bought as it was very rubbery. The almond croissant however was quite nice, and we enjoyed the sweet topping. The brekkie burger was also pretty average, but exactly as described so can’t complain! I quite enjoyed the coffee, so if in the area again would definitely grab one to takeaway :)

A beautiful little cafe - so picturesque and peaceful and caters for dogs with a lovely courtyard as well as tables facing the street for some nice people watching! A fantastic menu with fresh and innovative dishes and also very kind and happy staff. My favourite breakfast and lunch cafe in the Balmoral/Hawthorne/Bulimba area by far!

The photo says it all, this was the freshest, most superb presentation and so flavoursome. The team looking after us clearly love what they do and were so happy, with smiles everywhere. Thankyou, we'd give you 10 stars if we could. My husband's birthday breakfast was a hit because of our experience. Thankyou all.
