The Menagerie

The panel of coffees, teas, and others beverages is pretty nice. I went there few times already, I could try the hot chocolate who was really good one of the best that I had, light and not too sweet. The good point is like you can choose the flavour of your chocolate with some original flavours like lavender. The place looks nice and cosy However, after few times going there, there is something that we are welcoming. Some of the staff are pretty kind and nice but some can be really unfriendly. I recon that sometimes we all have bad days but Give a smile, say hi, say thank you or good bye I would say there are the basics in our sector. The quality of the beverages are not reflecting the quality of the service. Unfortunately.

okay coffee but rude staff. unless you know them personally don’t expect good service. No ‘hello’ or ‘thank you’ just no response even after ordering, they just leave to make the coffee. it’s so strange and off putting. they put the coffees on the table for you and still don’t say anything. worst experience as you’re left thinking YOU did something wrong. I don’t suggest going there since, just around the corner, there are better cafes with better food and coffee AND service.

Pretty average. Place is trying to be like a Melbourne - Fitzroy - hippy cool place. But their care free attitude comes off as rude, not cool. I would suggest they make up their mind between being a cafe or an afternoon drinks place. The two cliental often mix giving it an even weirder vibe then what their staff give off.
