King Arthur Cafe

Nice place and they have a good sizes table upstairs for larger group. The staff is super friendly and quick to help. The menu options are interesting and not the usual but none of us were disappointed. The pumpkin waffle in particular is one to try! Overall a place worth visiting for a great cup of coffee and for delicious food.

I like the ‘hole in the wall’ window opening to the street that they have for grab and go coffee. There is a nice vibe to it. I think this also results in the inside of the cafe being a little more relaxed and separated from the events of the street. Inside is spacious enough but the seating is a little weird (unergonomic), lots of small stools and small tables. I’m not that tall but upstairs with the arched walls and ceiling I also felt like l I was hunching a little. The food was good, reasonably priced, and I was certainly satisfied with the size. My two main notes, zucchini felt a bit light on but must have been nearly a whole avocado in the bowl. Thinking about a cool quiet morning gives the outdoor seating options appeal.

Great food and nice layout with an upstairs dining area as well but really it was the breakfast. Went there both mornings for scrambled eggs on toast. Very well prepared and very good helping, but what really set it apart? They buttered the toast before serving no fiddling trying get the lids of those microtubs of butter. Would recommend for this alone.
