I’ve been in the new Newstead store, hands down the best doughnuts you can get. All flavours are amazing with top quality ingredients, honestly hard to choose one only. If you haven’t tried the waffle with gelato on top yet, definitely give it a go, that deserves 7 stars

Purchased 2 different filled doughnuts and both were awful. Heavy, dry, tasteless, almost freezer cold and barely any filling.

2020 edit: the new Veruca Salt recipe is whack and tastes bland. Bring back the old caramel filling. I'll pay the extra cash!

Really cool experience when I was visiting from the States! Must try if you like donuts!

Arrived at the shop at 7pm to find it closed. Both Google Maps and their own website said it should be open until 9pm unless sold out, which it obviously wasn't (see image). Went back 15 minutes later, still closed. Walked by an hour after that, and suddenly it was open. I guess employees need breaks sometimes, but at least put up a sign if you are going to be away for more than 15 minutes..
After that much hassle we still decided to try the doughnuts. One was so dry I couldn't eat it, but the other was fine. Overall didn't like the experience.

Evening purchase of a cinnamon with Nutella inside. Below average taste. The donut or doughnut was dry and upsetting. I had dreams of Byron bay doughnuts but I got a mouthful of sand. I would say the quality from woolies and coles store bought donuts would be better. Sad face.

Love the vibe of the store, small and cute. Many vegan options. Very sweet but soo good! My favourite was the Rainbow sprinkled.
