Cod Father

I had fish and chips with a side of calamari. By default, they serve crumbed fish unless you ask for battered. I only read the sign after I put my order in so it was too late to change my order. I was a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to the batter. I still enjoyed my meal though and I'd go back again. Reasonably priced, nicely cooked and good portion sizes. Tasted fresh and healthy.

Not bad, and not all that amazing either. A solid 3 star place. Fish is alright, although I'm not the biggest fan of cod anyway. Burgers are pretty good value for money, again nothing special though. Chips are usually undercooked, make sure to tell the owners to do them well done. Staff always friendly and customer service good.

Classic fish and chips with quick service and decent fish and chips for a very fair price. Also their burgers are solid for the price, make sure you ask to add bacon and extra sauce! Ask for chicken salt and its even better. Also it seems like a local family business which I'm more than happy to support. Thanks everyone at the Cod Father you're amazing and I love your food. I love the Cod Father. Great, old fashioned prices, excellent fresh fish, delicious chips and the potato scallops are always oversized. My husband ordered a steak burger this week and he said it was great. We have ordered take away from here many times and are very happy with the service, quality and price. The staff are also always polite on the phone and our order is ready, hot and waiting when we arrive. Always ready within 20 minutes for pickup, often earlier. I couldn't be happier and will miss it when we move.
