Seven Stones Restaurant

Good place, great atmosphere and location. But this place fails to realise it's potential, the meals sound like they're worth the money but they taste carelessly put together. The main offence is the coffee, I think it's an Italian family and they seem to pride themselves on what I can only describe as poorly made, Luke-warm coffee. It's the closest cafe to my house which I was excited about, but many cold coffees later I just feel like giving up and going ANYWHERE else. I hope they can pull their socks up.

Foods awesome, coffees awesome and the staff are super friendly and nice. We've started going there as our weekendly indulgence, and it's never disappointed. The other reviews on this place, saying it's bad, those people are idiots. Cause this place is just so great and chilled out, fantastic to go and relax at.

This is the worst cafe I've ever been to. We waited 45 minutes for food. To make things worse, we ordered chips for our 2 year old as they have no kids menu and only after 40 minutes did they inform us they didn't have any chips! Try explaining that to a 2 year old. When the food did arrive, it was average at absolute best. I ordered the chicken and pumpkin linguine and it was barely edible. We asked them multiple times how much longer the food would be, and at no point did they tell us how long it would be, just said they didn't know, my husband had to leave before the food arrived to go back to work. At the end I asked to speak to a manager as no solutions were offered to us at any point, to be advised that there was no manager there as they were all on holidays. Clearly the staff are incapable of running the cafe.

What's that dumb dumb? That's the question you'll ask yourself when you see all the Easter island heads (a very bad Night At The Museum pun). They use only the very exquisite Cleanskin coffee here, which of course I had to buy a bag of to take home. So smooth and delicious, it's like a java party is happening right in your mouth! I've yet to try the food, by the smell of pork ribs coming from the kitchen gives me very little excuse to give it a try. Easy relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and great (not good) coffee! Why wouldn't you give it a try?
