Wynnum Tavern

Had my 21st there, it was amazing and the staff and food was awesome. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for this big night. Big shout out to Amie for all her hard work to make this night amazing for me. Nothing was ever a problem when talking with her. The chef did an amazing job to bring out 30 odd meals one after the other and tasting wonderful. They made my night stress free and memorable.

We hosted our wedding reception on The Terrace here, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent, and the service was unbeatable. We had a large group and the staff were all attentive, patient and accommodating. They allowed us to power an oxygen tank and provided an extension cord, served a LOT of amazing drinks, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night. The venue was also modern and well kept- we had a very comfortable time there.

A large group of us visited for mother's day. Overall a good experience. Only negative were the state of the toilets and a steak being over cooked (ordered medium rare but got out medium well) upon returning the steak was told by waitress that it was medium rare, which was disappointing. Stevie Wonder could see it was on the other side of medium. Not disappointed by the fact it was over cooked, that can be rectified. But if you don't know what you're talking about then please just take the damn steak back. 2nd steak came back perfect.

At the tavern on Wednesday night watching state of origin like we have for the last 6years, at the end of the game Scott behind the bar decides to turn all the TV's to base ball, we didn't even get to watch the shield presentations which is what it is all about. This is not the first time this has happened.

A very typical Tavern to visit with a really nice area inside to enjoy. There is a great area to enjoy a meal that has a really good selection of meals to choose from at good prices. The pokies are there as well as Keno to play, so I hope you score a win. Well worth a visit and spend some time with a relaxing drink afterwards.

I always go for the 15.90 lunch rump and have never regretted it. I was apprehensive thinking how could I possibly get good steak for $15.90, I was pleasantly surprised. The steaks have always been cooked to the way you want it, with a decent amount of salad and chips as well as gravy. The atmosphere is nice and is kid friendly. Service staff are kind and usually are pretty quick to get things sorted!
