Cafe Mi

Newly changed owners (previous owner retired) and his disciple Andrew took over. He is from the new Territories in HK but grew up here in Aussie. Nonetheless he flies back to HK at least a few times a year and hasn't lost touch at all of how real hk food taste like. He only tries to hire fellows HKers for a more authentic environment to his cafe Amazingly guy, many old customers would come to chat and eat. Coming from HK, the food here is truly home food. Had Cha siu rice and the taste is 👌, sauce is authentic too. Also took away some chicken mushroom congee. Portion of that was a bit small for the price but nonetheless VERY WELL made. Flavours are thoroughly infused but not overseasoned. Very generous amount of meat and mushrooms in it. Would recommend if you are into authentic hk food.

Went here today and left with empty stomachs. We ordered duck with rice , the pok chuy looked old , everything on the plate was hot except for the roast duck . Was cold on both our plates. We let the waitress know she took.our plates thinking we were going to get a fresh plate , but was returned the same plate and it was still cold. The she asked if we wanted it heated up? We left to eat somewhere else but the reason I gave 2 stars because they were very kind people , and welcomed us nicely, just unfortunately , cold meat.

This place has become one of our regulars after having a baby because of its convenience- access to undercover park, baby room, and if you sit outside, there's room for a pram/highchair. The food has always been delicious with quite large servings, and comes out so quickly. Our favourites are the Portugese Baked Chicken, Roast Pork and the Crispy Eggplant noodles. Ambience isn't all that great because it's literally a restaurant in the food court area but the meals are good.

Pretty good, i would rate between 3 and a half to four stars. im not a picky person so its rare for me to be harsh on rating experiences. However the prices are a tad high but i suppose prices this day and age is about the same when eating out almost $15 for a fried pork outlet with and egg on top sounds pretty average pricing i suppose TVs sre turn off which ruins the ambiance, every other place you would expect the tv on streaming hong kong tv drinks can be cheaper too, i like a red bean milk shake, but if it costs $5 and there's free courtesy chinese tea, which do you think im going to get? good establishment but can be better

I ordered the black pepper beef on noodles it was ready in less than 2 minutes microwaved beef soup on top of dried noodles, it was the worst tasting dish ive had....it tasted like expired can soup... Spent 15 dollars on this dish what a ripp off... DONT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. DONT RUIN YOUR LUNCH OR DINNER LIKE I DID
