The Rendezvous Tea Room

Myself and girlfriends came in recently for a high tea stand. It was absolutely amazing, we were blown away by the height and amount of food on the stand. The selection of teas are great and many to choose from. The staff and service was outstanding. The uniforms, the pictures and the music suited and took us back in time we felt like we were in the 1940s. What a little hidden gem, we shall be back again and with more friends for a high tea. Thank you again The Rendezvous Tea Room for offering such an amazing little place!

What a lovely surprise entering this very cute tea room. Lovely intimate, olde worlde charm, and decor, including the pictures of HRH Queen II, and her Father King George VI. heaps of high tea tidbits, lovely English speaking girl Dottie to wait on us, with proper uniform. We were not rushed as many places were on Mothers Day, and had an interesting free tea reading from the Tea Reader. Free Strawberry Jam samples. We had time to chat and share news. Good service.

At Rendezvous, they nail the tea. That's it. Beyond the tea options on the menu, be prepared for hospital or plane food. I had a quiche and it was microwaved from a frozen state. Hubby's meal was equally unremarkable. The Tea Room has a comment box just inside the door. Hubby left a note suggesting a family recipe for omelettes that might serve them better than the anaemic slop he was served. We didn't hear from them despite the fact he left a note to feel free to call for recipe. We do recommend for the tea experience, however.
