Dreadful, arrogant, disinterested service. If you’re looking for a coffee shop with over-priced food and staff who seem inconvenienced by your presence, then Global Fine Food in Ashgrove is the place for you. However, if you’re looking for good value and good customer service, you may want to go elsewhere.

Ordered a couple of sandwiches but the choice of bread was very limited, and I was told it was that or nothing, despite there being a bakery literally 2 doors down. Sandwiches are reasonably tasty, but after paying $12+ each, and enduring the glacial pace (10 minutes, no other customers waiting) at which they were prepared, it wasn't a satisfying experience. Won't be hurrying back.

My favourite for great coffee, fresh sandwiches, cakes and slices etc. Great service from friendly staff too. Been going there since 2007. Family owned business. Highly recommended!

My whole family loves Global Fine Food ... they're an Ashgrove institution and in my experience never fail to delight in the quality of their service and friendly attitude. I hear they're starting home delivery and contactless pickup from their new online shopping portal. Well done guys!!!!

I used to love the place. But now you can't get a sandwich take away because it's 15 minutes before it closes. I thought the closing time is when they stop serving. Tables were still out the front. The older lady who rudely dismissed me was in the process of making an off the menu sandwich for another lady. Service in this place has dropped terribly
