RUDE CHEF, ALOOF STAFF, OVERPRICED If you feel like waiting an hour for overpriced, tiny servings of oily food, this is the place for you. The prices at this restaurant reflect delusions of grandeur. Clearly the chef sees himself as some kind of Gordon Ramsey of Hardgrave Road and Harry certainly treats his customers accordingly. While calling to complain about the fact that part of the takeaway order had a less than half full container of pasta (after waiting an hour for the initial order), the chef was overheard in the background saying “Just tell him he's banned from the restaurant“ and immediately hung up on me. By far the worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. Will never go back.

Absolutely delicious Authentic Italian meal tonight at Luigi’s in West End!!! Soooo good!! Fresh made Moreton bay bug ravioli with sage butter - sooo good! Pizza also extremely authentic and delicious. But the absolute showstoppers were the home made gelato!! Saffron, vanilla, honey and Halva - sensational!! And mango, white chocolate ganache and pine nuts also very decadent!! Great service and West End Grungy street vibe made for an enjoyable night!! Wine list small but great also!!

I wanted to follow up with some very disappointing and inappropriate service. My partner and I arrived at approx. 1900hr. We had waited a little while for staff to acknowledge us and drinks were brought right away which was pleasant. We ordered our food and well after an hour we were still waiting on 1 pizza and 1 pasta, we had asked a few times on the delay. Especially since there were several people there that arrived and ordered after us. Finally after finishing two glasses of wine each, we decided to leave at approx. 2045hr. The staff were not really enthused about us leaving and FINALLY offered us to take the pizza away, yet still wanted to charge us. We were left in the heat, with constant waiters bumping off our table, and not given the food we ordered. We paid full price for the wine and left. I was going to let this go and chop it up to poor service and business management, however after reviewing the many reviews online. This is not the first time this restaurant has given absolute horrid service. I understand if this business is family run and there are a few more hurdles, but unfortunately there clearly is just a lack of management and basic understanding of how to serve food. I suggest a to review how you have your staff operate, and clearly work on your kitchen times. I hope you learn from this experience and the multiple other complaints you have on google review and trip advisor.

Easily my favourite pizza place in Brisbane. Delicious pizzas. Great pastas. Great other stuff. Even their drinks are good. Funky atmosphere. But their ability to accurately tell you how long their food will take to be ready for takeaway is abysmal. Really abysmal. If they say it will be 15 minutes it will actually be 30 minutes maybe even 46 minutes.

I am changing my rating from an original 5 to 2 based on my recent visit. The pasta sauce was watery and the pasta was undercooked..a really far call from what I had there 2 years before. The waiting time was around an hour. They did admit and apologize that they messed up the order. I suppose that is why the pasta didn't taste as good as it should have. As much as I don't want to change my review, I really have to. It is what it is. This was my original review 2 years before. Had the most amazing fungi pasta (server's recommendation) at this place. It was unlike anything I have ever had. Creamy and strong tasting. Loved it.

OMG! 😀 I'm very rarely impressed by restaurant meals. Luigi's has done so. We had the second item on the breakfast menu and it was a fantastic flavor experience. A beautiful omelet with lots of tastes to enjoy, wrapped up in a sourdough pizza base. The meal was large and well priced. The staff are friendly and professional, the decor unique, warm and interesting. We'll be returning regularly.
