The Pod Cafe

Came here for a Peruvian dinner here actually so I cannot speak to the venue as a cafe. As for the Peruvian dinner it was a bit hit or miss but when it was a hit it was pretty good! I’m not sure if it was good enough to warrant the price point ($62 for an entree, main, dessert, and cola drink) but the service here is very friendly and I love the ambiance of this place. I did not care for the dessert, and the main was serviceable. I really enjoyed the entrees actually!

Great local place with fantastic Fonzie Abbott coffee, reasonable prices, kid friendly and good service. Cakes are super cute and yummy. Ordered takeaway old fashioned home style burgers which were yummy, great balance and not too rich, but was disappointed they came in a very large old style styrofoam box, would prefer the paper wrapping any day.

im sorry but i sat there half an hour waiting for my breakfast just to be told i cant make your breakfast because i have a catering order to finish. If your going to open the cafe and let people in then maybe you should do your catering outside hours or close the cafe. previous times I came because I had lots of qoin to use up but i have to say that at other cafes offer better quality and bigger portions for lower price and there has been long wait times even when cafe was empty . not a very enjoyable experience. A real big change needed not just a new name that makes no sense. I have to say that the visits to this cafe has been the worst i have ever experienced sorry.

I don’t usually get coffee everyday however I go out of my way every Saturday morning to visit the pod as the young barista working is absolutely exceptional at her job. The way her coffee taste just honestly hits different. However, I sometimes feel bad for her as there are so many customers and the store gets quite busy and she’s out the front, taking orders and making coffees by herself. She still keeps up great customer service and always asks each individual how their day was. Yesterday I had an early mark from work and decided to pop in to grab a coffee around 4:30pm. I was shock to see that the Pod was closed for the day. The times online state they they are open from 6-6 everyday, however this clearly isn’t true and is quiet disappointing when I went out of my way to go here. I would give the lovely young barista 6 out of 5 stars, however I am giving 3 due to the inconvenience of the store being shut.
