AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS I will never order from this place again. This is their fish burger which was served with cold stale chips. I've ordered here before and was given fresh fish fillet in my burger that was hanging over the bun edges. I reckon new management has taken over which as resulted in poor quality food. If you can't make good fish, chips and burgers you should reconsider the business your operating.

I occasionally use this place when my preferred takeaway (Big Jim's) is not open on a Monday night. I read Peter Low's negative review concerning the "fisherman's basket" below along with the owner's response stating that he has no "fisherman's basket" on the menu. I have included photos of the menu showing a menu item "Seafood Basket" which is quite obviously the item to which Peter was referring. The english spoken at this establishment is quite poor and I, as a native english speaker, had difficulty both in understanding and being understood by them, so I make allowances for the slim possibility that the two item names may seem more significantly different to them than to the average native english speaker. I leave it to the reader to discern whether some level of dishonesty has been engaged in here and if so, what that level may be. On this occasion I ordered two hamburgers with bacon, pineapple and beetroot, one with egg and the other without (the egg caused no end of confusion). I was told that bacon was not available. I assume this is because of the religious convictions of the owner. This is their prerogative of course but bacon lovers should stand warned. The service was friendly and polite all times although the level of English spoken was fairly poor. The burger was of a decent though unexceptional quality. The beef patty was perhaps a little overcooked and small in relation to the size of the bun. With a burger it is important to be able to get a portion of patty with each bite. I was unable to do this because of the size of the patty and because of the somewhat excessive amount of sauce that had been used which allowed the patty to slip around. In the bun with each bite.

I arrived before 8pm last night and they were already closed. Both google maps and their shop front say 8:30pm close. What a waste of time and money driving all the way there. Another time I went and they were open, there was one person behind the counter and she was so busy monitoring the online order apps, I stood there getting ignored for a good ten minutes before I could make an order.
