Excellent place for desi food. Authentic taste and great service. May be not very fast but good enough for us to keep coming back. Halal meat offered. We ordered Nihari and this is the best we had in Brisbane. Chikken tikka and tandoori fish were good as well. Owned by Mr. Jahangeer and he is a wonderful guy. Would be coming back and try more variety.

Our online order was delivered thirty minutes late and missing items. Our hot food was barely warm, the samosas were saturated in oil and the one cold item we ordered was not adequately refrigerated. It was overall a disappointing experience and we will not be ordering Sheesh Mahal Indian Restaurant again in the future.

Basically it’s a fake ratings for this restaurant.... from the start to the food being served, everything was horrible. Rice I think was plastic( worst ever quality) . The naans were burnt and when we asked about it, the lady was giving some lame excuses. We ordered three curries and everything were inedible... We ordered lamb cutlets for starters and even that was so bad.... I think google should look into the review of this restaurant. The review of this restaurant should only be around 1 or 2 but not above 4 and the smell on the tables and around the restaurant was so disgusting 😝😝.so bad customer service....

I accidentally tried this restaurant as my favorite Indian restaurant in Brisbane was closed at the time. And so this is my favorite from now on. It was really amazing. I ordered goat biriyani and it was really delicious with juicy meat. Try this goat biriyani, which is the magic of chef Jahangeer, if you're a biriyani lover. I'm often going to visit this place for this juicy goat biriyani.

Excellent value for money and serving sizes but the dishes were all poor. My order was takeaway and ready on time. My regular is a palak paneer. It was totally unrecognisable. Wrong color, no spinach and weird cheese. The chicken Kadai contained breast meat which made the chicken dry. Curry flavour was good. The garlic naans were huge but moist and wet in places making them rather unappealing. The rice was broken and I was questioning if it was even basmati. It's a shame as I was ready to make this my local.
