Hummingbird Bar & Restaurant

The Hummingbird Bar and Restaurant, new to Rosalie Village will not disappoint. I have eaten here several times since it opened in July 2017. The taste, texture and presentation of the food is just exquisite. I was especially impressed with the overall presentation of each dish. The service was phenomenal and the meals were served very quickly. Exceptionally professional and friendly staff with an excellent atmosphere. Great location, modern classy and comfortable. Very reasonably priced considering meal sizes. I really can’t fault this restaurant! What an asset to Rosalie!

Unbelievably delicious food, and great service. If your looking for a great experience and meal in Rosalie Hummingbird is by far the best place in Rosalie to eat. We were here on Friday night, staff are very welcoming greeting instantly and seated fast considering how busy they were. Nice touch with complimentary bread to start the night. Would highly recommend and we will be back next time we come see a movie at the blue room cinema. Thanks

Attended Thursday night KIDS EAT FREE, very trendy place for Rosalie food was amazing, excellent service, which we could not fault. The kids ordered the nuggets and chips and hubby and i ordered the lamb and the sword fish beautifully executed. Will certainly be back every Thursday and now to be our new Rosalie hot spot with us and the kids.

Hummingbird continues to improve, they made us a pretty good martini! The oysters were Coffin Bay, fresh and succulent. Duck breast entré just right. Mains by the new chef did not disappoint: lamb and steak cooked to perfection! Great service and attention and, once they turned the "music" down, good atmosphere. Definately worth trying.

This establishment was far from fining dining. The food was of such a poor quality and the service was rude and inexperienced. I had a smoked oyster that tasted like an ashtray, tartar that was old and grey and a main of Lamb three ways that was just an example of how to over cook lamb in 3 different ways. To top it off the price tag was astronomical for the amount of food actually served. Sub par food and service with a fine dining price tag.

We went to try this restaurant out last night and it did not disappoint for entrée we had the ricotta and spinach cannelloni and the pork belly with pumpkin jam it was to die for, was very impressed. For mains we had charcoal lamb rump and sous vide chicken breast with charred sweet corn which was a very welcome addition as well as a side of ash roasted potatoes, the pecorino cheese just made this dish. I would go back daily just for the potatoes. We had the chocolate brownie bites with chocolate rosemary mousse for dessert and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Excellent menu and atmosphere, the staff could not do enough for you. We will definitely be back as we could not fault a thing. The Hummingbird bar and restaurant will without a doubt be a regular spot for us.

$39 for pork fillet, three tiny pieces of meat (and I do mean tiny!), and a few tiny pieces of carrot and a peeled apple. $16 for a glass of Chardonnay, plus $9 for "slow roasted potatoes" which means skin on, microwaved, underdone potatoes.. All up $70 for two drinks one meal and a very poor side dish. Staff were polite but we won't be back!
