Hello India

I have been going to this restaurant for years as I am a local in the area. Its gone off badly. I have been used to tasty delicious curries etc but the take away dishes I had this week were flavourless and with no heat. They must have a new chef, who does not understand how to cook a curry. I want to see this restaurant survive as we need a great Indian restaurant in the area. but Hello India must do better or its Goodbye India

I took a take away from here. I usually don't review much.. but dropped in to review this because it was very bad. I was very disappointed on opening the tandoori chicken box !!!! there were only a few pieces and that too not usual size but very tiny bite size pieces like in curry. Taste was terrible and dry and chewy too.... very much disappointed as I love to eat tandoori chicken. Also the Naan was dry and not cooked well. Not going back again.

This place is terrible. The worst Indian food I've ever eaten. I got Lamb Rogan Josh, it literally tasted like it was sitting out for a day before they microwaved it and served it, and I was sick for 2 days after eating here and Indian is my favourite. Please, for you families safety and health DO NOT EVER EAT HERE.

Dinned in for dinner Friday night, there was only one other group of people at the restaurant but the food took over 30 mins to come out, curries were luke warm when served and the main meals came out 10 minutes apart. Ordered naan bread and was advised would be ready shortly after the main meals were served, by the time we had finished eating our mains the naan bread had still not been served. Upon paying the staff seemed suprised and wanted to know why I asked them to remove the naan bread from the bill despite the fact they were aware it was never served.

The reviews are misleading.... I went there recently and didn't like the food. The butter chicken was sweet and had too much tomato sauce and lamb korma was irrecognisable, not as hot, dark and thick as it is in other places. No wonder we and other couple were the only clients.... I am bit upset with fake reviews!!!!
