Super friendly owner who had a chat to us about our bikes :) We rode there for calamari and chips, and were pleasantly surprised to find bike racks to securely lock our bikes up. Food was hot and tasty, and a reasonable price. And it's so close to the beach!

Nothing but good vibes and good food! Pam and her crew have been here a long time. Thinking how tough it is being in business right now we never have a bad experience or meal with this lovely couple. Keep on doing it. We love it.

Worst experience ever! Asked for (which was on their menu for a peanut butter sandwich) they give me just butter?? Told them 3 times and it was on their board as they didn't understand me. Then asked for a hamburger with the lot and to make that 2 of them, and a cheeseburger, she says thats just a bun and cheese with meat? I said okay then a hamburger with cheese, whatever is on your board! She read the order back to me. All good. Came out with the order with 1 burger too short, butter sandwich no peanut on it. Then to open the chips that have plain salt asking for chicken salt. I am disappointed to the fact that all came to $60 and I will never come back.

Absolutely disappointing food. Charged $19 for chicken burger with no chips option and burger looked gross, 4 bite size chicken pieces with god knows what sauce. Still gave it a try and only ended up having 1 bite. Never coming back again.

Ordered a 1x plain burger 1x cheese burger total $13. Cheese burger arrived with no cheese. We immediately brought this to the attention of the young man who took our order, served our order and then seemed unable to rectify our order with the said cheese. We waited a while with no communication on what was happening, then I said to my son just eat it before it goes cold. We finished our food, which was incidentally, and still no cheese, no apology and no explanation. I also noticed a range of supermarket essentials they have clearly purchased with brands exclusive to Aldi and reselling at what I’d say is close to double the retail price e.g packet of Chai tea for $7.95. Not sure that’s even legal. We waved our goodbye and a head was turned in our direction with no attempt to explain or apologise. As a business owner myself I’m not sure how this place is still in business after so many years and giving ⭐️⭐️ is perhaps generous.

Some of the menu items seemed to be priced unreasonably high. The serve of chips seemed to be excessively small. The staff weren't friendly. The locals must enjoy it as there were a few people around (but there isn't really much else available) Unfortunately we won't be back. Good luck 👍

Absolutely the best authentic Asian homemade spring rolls and dipping sauce I've had. This hidden little cafe takeaway store catering business fast food and supermarket was a hidden gem that I accidently located while I was having a look at Nudgee Beach for the first time. They have great coffee freshly made for you to order. Good selection of teas. A menu for children vegetarian options Asian food Western food hamburgers fish and chips. Awesome place to sit and have breakfast lunch or dinner Outdoors under the verandah. They also Cater for parties weddings meetings private functions and have an excellent range of foods they're able to cook. Having been in that location for 18 years Pam's Cafe 88 has established a local clientele but also because they are so close to the Nudgee Beach reserve where there are public toilets drinking water taps where you can fill your travelling bottles with beautiful spot to stop and have a look at the ocean and see the islands out in front. There is a boat ramp. Awesome playgrounds for the children and Pam's cafe 88 is walking distance so you can enjoy a day at the Nudgee Beach and get great fish and chips to eat by the Sea while the children play on the playground. Try their Asian menu. Authentic and delicious. Thank you for a great experience and so friendly service. PS. GLBT Friendly and 4 legged friends may also dine.
