Cafe 63

I was very unimpressed by this restaurant today. I take my elderly uncle here often for a lunch date and they are usually fine. Today on the other hand, they asked for proof of vaccination, we are both fine with them asking for vaccination status but they had never asked for it before. We are both fully vaccinated but because he does not have a smart phone, he carries a physical copy. On this occasion, he had accidentally forgotten it and was visibly upset, the lady at the door rudely turned us away and said no, we needed to leave if we could not provide proof of vaccination. We have been loyal customers here for a long time and this was the first time they turned us away, he was very upset because he looks forward to this outing every couple of weeks. Luckily the wonderful tavern next door was very welcoming and served us a wonderful lunch! I highly recommend the tavern next door!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE. Very bad service. We went there with my 2 year old child and wife as Cafe 63 branches are usually good. We had limited time. We ordered our food and drinks for 2 adults and a child and we did wait...WAIT... AND WAIT. My child was STARVING! VERY HUNGRY. After such long wait and nobody paying attention to us i went in and asked what happened with out food? THEY FORGOT TO PUT OUR ORDER TO THE KITCHEN!!!. There waitress was very unprofessional and not efficient at all (she was an asian lady and her name was Cheryl i think. i am not sure if she was sleepy or under the effect of some medication?). There was another lady (short indian lady) that was even more rude ignoring me and giving me her back when i was asking for our food, she just request us to go and and sit and wait. I was very dissapointed and upset and for a good reason. Then another lady showed up saying she was the "manager" and she asked for my email so they can contact me to apologise.... ONE DAY LATER AND NOTHING, which is very rude too. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CAFE 63 STAFFORD!!! We ended feeding our toddler some nuddles from the food court where we got some fast food too in a hurry.

Food quality: 5 Stars Service: 4.5 Stars Atmosphere: 4.5 Stars Cafe 63 has always been a pleasant experience and the Stafford cafe is no exception. Food was exceptional in taste and quality. I was pleasanlty surprised to find the "Land Rover", scrambled eggs mixed with salmon served with ago on toast, was made with real chopped up salmon fillet, not that thin sliced packaged variety you'd find in a supermarket. Service was quick and attentive. They had made a mistake in the kind of smoothie I order but quickly replaced it at no charge. The cafe was spacious and clean, with an outdoors area too.

Visited for the first time today after debating it for a long time. Food was just okay, but potato chips were served cold and soggy. It was an alright experience until a female 30 something wannabe sat at the next table with a bench seat and proceeded to kick her shoes off and tuck her feet up on the bench. This is a café, not the beach. I eventually asked a staff member if it was okay for the wannabe to have her feet on the seat and her reply was, yeah it is okay. The wannabe saw the exchange and asked me if I was offended, I said I was offended and she took her feet off the seat and put her shoes back on. I was taught manners and part of being taught manners was to keep my feet off seats. This was our first and last trip to café 63 at Stafford City. I don’t want to go to a café where it is acceptable to put your feet up on a seat where other people have to sit. Just not right!
