Bar Roma

Our flight was delayed so we decided to have a light meal at Bar Roma. I thought it offers authentic Italian food, so I ordered a lasagne and my friend ordered a Cajun chicken burger. Both dishes looked really impressive but not tasty at all. We were disappointed. On the other hand, the hot wedges with gruyere cheese melt, served with sweet chilli and sour cream was fantastic! I would just recommend to get this snack. The staff was really friend with a sense of humour.

I ordered a Gourmet Steak Sandwich, was average, meat over done. Was extremely disappointed by the attitude of staff. Very bad. I asked to swap the Aioli sauce that was given with my meal to a tomato sauce. They said no that would be 50c. I explained that I couldn't actually eat Aioli because of allergies. Still fought with me, and then finally walked to the kitchen and threw the sauce aggressively in the bin. Was completely rude throughout, I had just spent $30 (food and beer) at this place. Plenty of other places to eat where people are great and friendly. Wish I had gone to Red Rooster instead.

Food was nice and coffee was good, with fairly quick service. Reasonable menu selections. Unfortunately the staff were unnecessarily rude. Refused at all to accommodate a request for people planning on sharing a meal. Would not allow a share plate and wouldn't event allow us to have the eggs separated as I have an allergy. I can understand some places can't but our request was fairly simple and they were unnecessarily rude about it and strictly non accommodating as a policy. My partner wanted to leave without waiting for the meal. If they made simple efforts to keep customers happy they'd have a decent restaurant

Five stars for handling a price error the way it should be. When ordering an item advertised in the store, the price was higher at the check out than advertised. There was no arguing and the manager put the item through as a cheaper item and still received what we ordered. Best way to handle it. The food and service is also great.

Very rude staff, most unhelpful. Left people's orders lying on the counter while people waited, didn't even bother calling them over to collect it. Unhygienic coffee machine use. They act as if leaving an ingredient off making a sandwich is far too hard, and are just generally unpleasant and unhelpful. Food was burned, dry, horribly overpriced (even by airport standards), and I regret everything about this experience.

Service was quick and efficient. Staff friendly and approachable in manner. Food and drinks were excellent. Pleasant ambience around the seating area. A relaxing way to spend time there instead among the throng of crowds in the holding pents outside the gate to the plane entrance. Recharged and refreshed and ready to fly again.
