Decided to give this place a go and ordered a lemon chicken rice lunch special. The chicken was slightly crispy with well balanced lemony taste. Good value for money for $4.90. It's a good alternative to the Japanese fast food dishes e.g. chicken curry. Service was friendly. I wouldn't mind visiting again to try other dishes.

I been working in the Brisbane CBD area for more than five years. This is a worst restaurant in Brisbane for sure.
1. Cashier doesn’t know the menu.
2. Food ordered when there was no rice left in stock (replaced with noodles).
3. Wrong food came out (had to wait for 40 minutes for the correct food).
3. Super clumsy and slow service.
4. Dirty and unpleasant.
5. Tasted horrible.
It will make you feeling sick all over.
Worst food experience ever.

Wouldn't come here if I were you. Nothing great on the menu but cheap prices so I tried a beef brisket and rice thing. Which was ok. But another time, I came back for a chicken curry, which was very poorly done. They gave me a fried chicken version and I asked for a Grilled chicken version (They quickly rectified it). The chicken was heavily marinated in soy sauce and the curry just plopped on a plate with rice. Even the buns weren't steamed well (wet bread eww). I just liked how there's seating away from the rest of the centre ...and there was some tv series running. I think if they got some better things on their menu and did like set lunches with tea/coffee and soup etc, it could get more popular. Like a Cybercity. But the quality of food, presentation and way it's cooked is terrible. Sorry guys! Lovely people and I tried to support them multiple times but no more...ewww

If you have any food allergies, STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP.
I am gluten intolerant , so before I ordered, I did ask if the noodles used is rice noodles or eggs noodle. The cashier/cook replied that it is rice noodle. But when he served me the food. He actually used udon noodle. When I asked him, his reply was udon and rice noodles are the same. I told him no and left my noodle untouched.
Lucky I know the difference, if not I would have ended up in the hospital.
So for your own health avoid this place.
In response to owner comment:
Cashier should response we only have udon and egg noodle and not - "yes it is rice noodle!!!"
I encountered cook who told me regular sandwiches are gluten free. Your cashier think udon and rice noodle are the same, I doubt he know what is gluten intolerance.

Not recommend to try lunch special -$4.9.
Not worth at all unless you really like plain steam rice. Chicken size is the baby palm size.

Worst service, waited 30 minutes my order still not cooked. After two other customers asked for refunds for waiting too long, I got my refund too. All the tables were not cleared let alone cleaned & the floor was sticky. So disgusted.

I really like this place, the food's pretty reasonable and tasty, and the people are very nice. Don't be scared off by the abundance of chinese as there is also english on the menus. Try their skewers, they are quite reasonable in price and very tasty.
