Pacific Catch Seafood

Worst fish I’ve ever had and got food poisoning. Decided to try some fish at a different shop got some salmon fillets, prepared and cooked it like how I usually do with my fish. While I was doing this it didn’t smell or look off so I kept going as you usually would. Quality of the fish was garbage tastes like genuine trash so I put it where it belongs. Now it’s the next day I’m either vomiting or having diarrhoea and hating life. Thanks pacific catch 👍

Have been buying fresh fish and prawns here for over 5 years for special occasions. Seafood isnt cheap, but I wont be buying any more from here. Like a nice steak, you are looking for juicy and tasty. The fresh? green banana prawns when cooked were tasteless and tough. (and wasnt the cooking preparation) I think I will need to return to driving to Scarborough and buy from the old Morgans fish market. I really wondered why no one was buying from here before xmas (the are not cheap) ...there was no lines or queues.... couldnt believe I could walk up and purchase without waiting....I believe I now know why, wasnt that they were expensive....I believe everyone must of heard that the quality has dropped off. The quality of the fish and prawns has really fallen and are not like they used to supply. Everyone has different tastes and like I said, I would previously have recommended over the years, but not after the last purchase. Maybe run by a new business manager or buying from a different supplier....not sure. I'll go straight to the trawler in future.

This is a place we have bought a lot of fresh seafood from over the past few years. It’s always been of high standard sadly no more! We Purchased two dozen oysters from pacific catch as we have done countless times before plus other fresh seafood, only to get home and find that the oysters were off! They were packed in ice and placed in our esky with cold bricks. I phoned pacific catch when we made this discovery, I was treated very rudely over the phone told I would not get a refund unless I produced a receipt. My husband paid cash and conveniently wasn’t given a receipt, we didn’t think about it at the time as we didn’t know that we may need it! I have made a complaint to centre management regarding this retailer and I will never buy from them again! The man I spoke with told me to do what I want and that’s just life!!! Clearly not good at handling any conflict! Very very dissatisfied!!
