Scatter Bean Cafe

Scatter Bean is my partner and my go to for breakfast / brunch. The owners are incredibly friendly, the menu updates regularly and the food is outstanding. Whenever we're deciding what to have for breakfast on the weekend, it's a no brainer. Highly recommended, the service is also exceptionally fast!

I’m unsure why anyone would not LOVE this gem in Taringa☺️ SO convenient next to the train station, it has a wonderful community vibe and dog friendly. Definitely the best coffee in the area and really enjoy their ice coffees in the summer. The chef makes the best cooked breakfasts and delicious lunch. I love the spinach and cheese omelette served with tomatoes, avocado and a homemade ketchup. Our kids love the yummy fried egg sandwich with egg dripping as you take your first bite:) The banana bread is brilliant. Sadly we really miss their fresh little biscuits (in my pic) especially the lemon and almond as they use to give these with a coffee and the new biscuit just isn’t the same 😢 However the staff are always welcoming and friendly and the food is consistently superb!!! Awesome Soy Flat White and Banana Bread 👏 Cool music choice too, I could have sat and listened all day 😀 Would be awesome to see a Big Veggie Breakfast on the menu. Just take off the Bacon and Sausage from the Big Breakfast and add Halloumi 😋 🙌 I miss being able to order something like this in the UK.

The Asian female staff was very rude. As we waited for the takeaway, she asked if we had finished the order. After saying we had finished the order, she told us to sit at table rudely. Afther that she rudely told the other staff why we were still staring at menu. Is there any rules in your shop that we have to sit at table for waiting takeaway coming slowly and we are not allow to look at the menu on the wall after the order is complete? It was our first visit, but we were very disappointed with their poor and rude customer service. We will definitely never return.
