Simon's Gourmet Gallery

I was impressed this morning when Simon's Gourmet Gallery had changed up there Deli and Cafe Range. There food is always great but this morning I tried there new slices range. Best I've had, and let just say I've tried a lot! Coffee also as usual hit the spot. Got my morning off to a great start! Then I ordered take away for Lunch. Satisfied. I went to Simons Gourmet Gallery the other day and I have to say, I was very impressed! I ordered a coffee and some breakfast for me and my family and the coffee was delivered to me instantly and it was the best coffee I have ever tasted. My kids loved it there and want to go back because staff were so friendly and they loved the pancakes! It was my first time going here, but I wish I discovered it a lot earlier! Definitely coming back!

The woman at the register gave us the B&E roll COLD! Who wants to eat a cold B&E roll? She wasn’t very friendly either. No eye contact, no warmth in her service. Redeeming factor, my partner asked another waitress to warm it up. She was very friendly, warmed out B&E roll and toasted it; with a smile. It was delicious. Thank goodness. The place was clean and looks nice otherwise.

This used to be our favourite breakfast spot but the last few years haven't been great. Patchy quality food and often stale overheated coffees. Potato and herb Rosti will be lovely and crisp one week, soggy and oily the next. Also pretty expensive for what it is, a bacon and egg muffin with a medium coffee will set you back almost 14$ and, to be honest, I have had better coffee from the Mcdonalds across the road. That said, the deli and fresh produce is very good (if expensive, but that's to be expected) and the service is always friendly.

I just wish Simons wasn't so far away. Really I do. I love the selection of olives, cheeses , crackers. ......everything really is such good quality at reasonable prices. The coffee is always just right and the takeaway meals are so handy. So much better than the mass produced ready meals. You guys are spoilt to have such a place!
