First visit. Not for me. Came here only because we had a discount voucher and because we had a movie at Dendy. Waited outside at their podium that wasn’t manned for about 5 mins, walked near the door and we were then seated. I thought that it’s a very limited vegetarian menu and very expensive for what they actually serve. Their 330 ml of Coke is $4.50. There’s markup and then there’s PappaRich. There’s a very small amount of sambal, dhal and that spicy sauce that is served. Taste was not that great. I asked for steaming rice and I requested it to be reheated. I was advised that “nasi lemak” was coconut rice - it tasted nothing like coconut rice. Their menu is very set and rigid. There is no option for any variation. It’s either a whole big plate of veggies or nothing. No small portion size. I’m not sure which veggos like mock meat - good luck to you - but personally eating mock mutton does not appeal. The roti was well cooked as requested. Thanks for that. Service was friendly. When they serve your food, they give you your bill as well. What if you want to order more?! Luckily I didn’t have that issue. Thanks for dinner, I ate it as we had a movie to catch and going elsewhere was not an option. Definitely won’t return, but thanks for the experience.

2 out of 10 for taste of food, service quality and hygiene. It looks Malaysian but it definitely doesn't taste Malaysian. Person serving us was curt and unfriendly, at some point he was a little rude. Very disappointed on the taste of the food. The prices are high which I don't mind but the food taste is gross. I would NOT recommend. Hygiene of the place can be improved. Utensils are dirty. Overall, 2 out of 10.

We dined in around lunch time on a weekday as we had a discount voucher. The staff were friendly and the service was good as well. We ordered a seafood laksa, an egg roti and a sago pudding to share. The laksa was decent, but the egg roti wasn't a favourite. I did, however, like the side servings of lentils and gravy that accompanied the roti. Perhaps roti canai might have been a better choice of roti. The sago pudding was really good though, and I would definitely recommend it if you haven't tried it before.

Mann… don’t know where to start. I’m a loyal customer of this franchise since I’m in Melbourne. I think by far this one is the worst. Chicken skin looks so dark like it’s been fried multiple times. Vermicelli noodle is flat and the vegetarian option was dry as hell. Looked like it came out of a freezer to be honest. Pretty disappointed and won’t come back. Service is pretty poor too.

Went out for dinner with group of friends, did find PappaRich in general isn’t as good as it use to be in terms of portions, service and taste. But at this PappaRich it has a good small selection of desserts and ice creams, good after lunch or dinner sweet treat. Boba was on the hard side, we do prefer the chewy type more. Their desserts are available in takeaway if you prefer👌

I don’t understand the negative reviews, PappaRich delivers a delicious curry at an affordable price. What more could you ask for? The meat in our curries was well cooked and the roti and chutneys served on the side, absolutely delicious. A great spot for dinner if in the area.

I would say as compared with the papparich branches in the City and Garden City, the Coorparoo serves the best quality dishes (consistently). I usually come for combination egg sauce flat noodles and it’s very plentiful and full of ‘wok hay’. Hainanese chicken rice is also yum as chicken are usually tender and juicy. Chicken rice is very rich and moist too. Today I tried a vegetarian fried thin rice noodles and it’s honestly so good!! Rice noodles were again full of wok hay and nicely coated with oyster sauce without being too dry. I’m not a vegetarian but I reckon I will always come back for this particular dish.

I liked the chicken dumplings but not the main food we ate, I don’t know if it’s supposed to be very salty but we have to drink litre of water, thankfully I ordered milk tea so it was helpful. I was very hungry and kinda expecting to enjoy and finish my meal but disappointed. My stomach was full but didn’t enjoy the meal. 😞
