Enjoyed a high tea and a tour of the farmhouse & grounds. Erin, our volunteer tour guide, was informative & passionate about the history of the house & grounds. Amazing to see history practically in out backyard. The high tea itself definitely set the scene in line with the rustic feel of the farmhouse.

Beautiful old stone house. Interesting piece of Brisbane history. Lots of birds and kangaroo around. The entire site is not very big, 1.5 - 2hrs max if you come here for the high tea as well. The high tea was fine, very basic. I wouldn’t call it high tea though, more like basic morning tea.

Beautiful piece of history and tucked away gem. Serene place for high tea, the scones, damper and tea were delightful. This historic house is rich in history and is like stepping back into the past.

We had a Farmhouse tea with friends. Absolutely delicious and loads to eat. Also had veggie options. Our guide was a uni student volunteer, full of information and a captivating personality. The house and history are to bed recommended.

beautiful heritage sight to visit with your partner or family. my partner and i didn’t book in but we were happy to just view and tour the home. entry for a visit was $12 each and so worth it! the man at the counter was lovely and gave us some history after our look around.
we loved the downstairs cellar and was VERY eye opening into what life used to be like. doorways are very small - for 6ft+ people, we both struggled. watch your heads!
it’s been rainy recently in QLD so the wet grass and trees honestly was breathtaking. lovely, lovely place to be and would love to go again soon.

A little bit of history with a yummy hightea if desired. Very relaxed, live harp music while you eat. The birds singing in the tree's.
Free flat parking.
No children while we visited so super quiet 😁
