This place is such a find. Makes the morning trek into the city so much more pleasurable . The slow brew Chai is so tasty and that coffee is so well worth it on those mornings that need an extra kick in the guts.

A quick trip to Brisbane and I found this amazingly brilliant Chai Cart. I absolutely loved every sip of my coffee and wished I’d ordered an extra large, it was SO good. I drink between 10 - 14 cups of coffee a day, I will drive up to 10 minutes out of my way for a good coffee and this was definitely a “divert” coffee. Just wished I lived closer, NSW is a wee bit too far but it was amazing.

Best chai I’ve had in Brisbane. The spices are nice and strong and you can have it sweeter with some honey if you like. It’s really authentic, made from loose leaf tea, and the perfect alternative to coffee!

It took some looking to find this place on the internet. I'd passed it a couple times crossing the Victoria Bridge. No sign on or near the car says the Chai Cart and I asked the gentlemen working the cart who said it was called Greenseeds Espresso. Very confusing as that name appears nowhere on the internet. Oh well, I suppose the cart could have come under new ownership. Regardless, I wanted to stop at the cart because they advertised the "coffee in a cone". I was very curious as to how that worked, so I figured I'd give it a shot. The cart clerk put together what amounted to two shots of espresso into a miniature chocolate lined cone. He steamed some almond milk at my request as a replacement to the normal milk, but I have no idea how to shots of espresso and the milk fit into the cone. In the end, I tried it just to say I had the "coffee in a cone" The coffee wasnt good and drinking from a cone is the least practical way to drink coffee, but it was still fun to attempt. Give it a try and post your pic #coffeeinaconeaus to Instagram.
