The Coffee Club

I just love these places. The menu is great with a decent selection to choose from and prices are reasonable for what you get. The staff are always well groomed and super helpful and always bring a smile to your table when delivering your order. Always has people in here so you know it's good food and service. After walking around Wynnum for a whike this place is great to sit down and enjoy a drink and a meal to recharge for that trip home. Only negative i have is the new colour scheme and look, I feel, has made it look cheap and plain where before it had a classy sort of look.

On Sunday the 12/06/22 my wife and I went to this Wynnum establishment. We ordered 2 coffees , a slice of cake and a toasted sandwich. I asked if the coffees could be served with the food. The coffees came almost immediately whilst we waited 30 mins for the food. During this time a couple received their order and protested that it was cold. They were given a refund and left. Two other couples requested a refund as they claimed they had been waiting 45 minutes for their order. When our food arrived I can only say that a school tuckshop serves a better toasted sandwich than the pathetic offering I was served. This venue is a disgrace to the Coffee Club franchise. I only gave it one star so I could get this posted to warn others.

Friend and I bought smashed avocado on toast and a flattened mushroom toastie. It was more like a smear of avocado and an onion toastie with a couple of dried out mushies. No avocados or mushrooms were harmed in the making of these meals. They lost the order for the people near us who had been waiting quite some time and had to start again. They did compensate them with some drinks. Very disappointing. Won't be back.
