Since the new owners have taken over we can now get a friendly smile and fantastic service. I love this place now. It feels so good walking in and buying cod and chips. You are always welcome,( not like the old cranky unwelcoming disengaged owners) and always have the best food. You won't be disappointed.

Best authentic Banh Mi's both my wife and I have tried in Brisbane. Given that she is Vietnamese herself and I myself having lived in Vietnam for 11 yrs also agree they are awesome (not westernised). There calamari rings are by far the best, so fresh we love them. There fish and chips are also great, however I will note that there batter needs some fine tuning. It's been our go to place for the last year and are sad, that today will be our last visit due to moving interstate. I wish them all the best in the future, such lovely young couple.

Really the best fish and chips you can get for miles around. There is a good place at Woody Point, but the portions at Taigum are bigger and offer better value. Plus you can see what is being cooked and how. Always cooked to perfection. Great hamburgers too if you feel like a change. Real burgers like the good old days. I'm a regular customer.

I was outnumbered for choice on takeaway night...everyone wanted fish & chips but I wanted banh mi. Guess what? This place does fish, chips AND banh mi!!!! It was crunchy, fresh & delicious. Will def come back thanks to whoever wrote the review telling everyone the grumpy previous owners were gone. Good riddance. The new owners are lovely & efficient.

So glad the grumpy, dirty people have gone!!!....This place has CHANGED HANDS! THANK GOODNESS...now the new folk are really nice to deal with; they smile when serving customers...and the food has improved out of sight. Chips are always cooked to order, and fresh oil is used!...such a difference! Our fish and chips are ALWAYS really tasty, hot, and delicious!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received!! Ordered $45.50 worth of Fish & Chips and called to complain that when we got home to eat, all the chips looked and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil, when calling to complain the owner who never smiles was disgustingly rude and said that's how she cooks her chips and argued with me over it. Wouldn't ever recommend this shop!!
