Gorgeous little spot tucked away down a side street (hence the name), has some great cafes and burger places. Worth a visit!

A gf and I came here during a weekday for a few drinks. It was the first time we had visited California Lane and sat in the egg chairs out the front. The atmosphere and the service of the guy that was on was great.. the cocktails we had however weren't the best.. not sure if it was just a poor choice on our behalf or what but we struggled to drink them. Luckily he was cute and flirted with my friend who could have easily sat there all day chatting with him ;)

Disappointed with food, bruschetta bread cold not tosted served with cotonseed oil, part of couliflour was raw.. bravas soft oliy potatoes and random mayo sauce?
Mini bao is 14$ with bunt chicken size of a thumb nail..
Mojito was nice..

What a ducky little lane, had coffee here and met local artists and shop owners, friendly, gorgeous surroundings, funky, fresh and cute location. What a great find! Love it.

Great transformation of a wasted bin bay eyesore. It’s a shame it’s not extended all the way to Ann Street. Well done to the local council a brilliant use of space.
